ADRIAN SLATER PROFESSIONAL GUN DOG TRAINER has been training, judging, teaching and breeding gun dogs for over 30 years. Kipperridge Gun Dogs is based near the market town of Ormskirk in West Lancashire were Adrian lives with his wife 7 family. Kipperridge Gun Dogs is a family business with all members of the family being actively involved in the business. Adrian's wife Caroline also a highly experienced, competent & qualified professional trainer runs her own dog training schools in Merseyside called K92000 Dog Training & Agility Centres . Daughter Louise Slater (16) , also takes a keen interest in the business. At present Louise is writing monthly articles for The Countryman's Weekly Newspaper, were she is reporting on the training of ' The Three Brothers', Freddie Tim & Raz ,three springer spaniels Adrian is training up for the shooting field. Louise also is involved in the sport of clay pigeon shooting.
Sons, Michael (28) & Christopher Slater (20) have also been training gun dogs for many years, they both can be seen on the shooting field with their father working the dogs and participating in the sport of shooting.
Adrian Slater over the past 30 years has succeeded in reaching the top of his field , listed below are just a few of his achievements:-
1. Adrian is an ' A' Panel kennel club judge.
2. He has qualified to run for the England team at The CLA Game Fair For 9 consecutive years.
3. Adrian was awarded " guns choice" at The 2002 ESS Championships.
4. He was awarded 98 points at 2008 CLA International test, top marks ever given to a springer spaniel ( kipperridge wanda).
5. Adrian has competed in & won many trials/ tests over his 30 yrs of competing.
6. He has made dogs up to champions.
7. Adrian Slater was Invited to judge The 2009 ESS Championship held at Belvoir Castle & will be judging the 2012 Cocker Championship.
8. Adrian & Caroline Slater Invited by The Kennel Club to do the gun dog demonstration at the crufts dog show In the main arena in front of 6000 people 2010 & have been invited back to peform in 2012.
9. Adrian Slater was voted " Gun Dog Trainer Of The Year " by readers of the Countryman'S Weekly Newspaper.
10. Adrian & Caroline hosted the gun dog display at The CLA Game Fair 2010/2011
11. Hosted the gun dog display In The International Arena 2010.
